A very easy sweet dish made from 3 common ingredients water, sugar n wheat flour that are available anytime in every home. Today we will not fry maalpua, we will use tawa to make them.
Ingredients :
Water - 3/4th cup
Sugar - half cup
Wheat flour - less then half cup
Cardamom powder - a pinch
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Malai - 3 tbsp
Almonds - few chopped
Pistachio - few chopped
Recipe -
First mix dry fruits in Malai, keep aside
Take a bowl, add sugar than water,
mix well till It dissolves, than add wheat flour, mix well, make smooth batter, add cardamom powder. Heat a non stick pan
on medium flame, grease with little ghee,
Take one spoon batter n spread it on non stick pan evenly in round shape. Add few drops of ghee, little bit on maalpua , little bit in sides. Roast it till golden brown color on both side, roast another side by flipping
the maalpua. Now take out maalpua on a plate, spread Malai on maalpua.
Malai Maalpua are ready to serve.
Serve it hot.
You can eat it along with rabari also.
Also can make with jaggery instead
of sugar.
